Street photography has been a relatively new pursuit for me – one in which I have only been able to indulge since moving to Melbourne.  As a vibrant, cosmopolitan city, which is also relatively safe (compared to Johannesburg), Melbourne is an ideal location for street photography.  Photographically this has been a challenge for me.  Capturing a moment, in public, blending into the crowd is not something that has come naturally to me.

Friday afternoons typically are my time for heading into town with a camera after work.  Each walk is different.  While the streets and buildings change on a scale of years, the people and events happening there change from minute to minute.  No two days are the same.
